Find Your Perfect Fit
Finding the right fit isn’t just about comfort—it’s about how you ride. SOUKE bib shorts and jerseys are designed for performance. Every piece uses high-stretch Italian-inspired performance fabrics that are meant to fit close to the body, reducing excess movement while supporting your muscles throughout the ride.
If you’re between sizes, don’t worry. Our fabrics are highly elastic, and the difference between sizes is more about how you prefer the garment to feel than whether it will fit.
How to Measure Yourself
Jerseys
Measure your Chest. Wrap a soft measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest while keeping it level around your body. Stand naturally without expanding your chest.
Your chest measurement is the most important factor when choosing a jersey.
Bib Shorts
Measure your Waist and Hip.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, keeping the tape comfortably snug but not tight.
Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips while standing naturally.
For bib shorts, your waist and hip measurements should always be considered together.
How Our Sizing Works
Unlike casual cycling apparel, SOUKE bib shorts are built to fit close to the body.
Because every bib short uses high-stretch compression fabric, there isn’t a dramatic difference between adjacent sizes. Instead, the size you choose mainly changes how compressive the shorts feel. Think of the size chart as choosing your preferred riding fit rather than simply asking whether it fits.
If you’re between sizes…
1. Choose the smaller size if you prefer: Performance Fit
– Maximum compression
– Close-to-skin feel
– Ideal for long rides and training
– Minimal fabric movement
2. Choose the recommended size if you prefer: Comfort Performance Fit
– Secure and supportive
– Comfortable for most riders
– The fit preferred by the majority of our customers
3. Choose one size up if you prefer: Relaxed Performance Fit
– Slightly less compression
– More freedom around the waist and thighs
– Better for riders who don’t enjoy a very tight fit
Even when sizing up, our bib shorts are still designed to fit close to the body and will not feel loose like casual shorts.
Height Matters Too
Bib shorts are different from regular shorts. The shoulder straps and inseam length both become slightly longer as the size increases.
If you’re taller than average, it’s often worth sizing up—even if your waist measurement suggests a smaller size. The extra length usually improves comfort without making the shorts feel oversized thanks to the stretch fabric.
As a general recommendation:
– Around 185 cm (6’1″) or taller → consider sizing up one size.
– Longer torso or longer legs → sizing up usually provides a more balanced fit.
– Broad shoulders may also benefit from the larger size.

Real Fit Examples
Example 1: Waist: 35 in
According to the bib shorts size chart, a 35-inch waist falls across multiple sizes.
| Size | Fit |
|---|---|
| M | Performance Fit (firm compression) |
| L | Comfort Performance Fit (Recommended) |
| XL | Relaxed Performance Fit |
All three sizes can work. The difference is simply how compressive you’d like your bib shorts to feel.
Example 2: Waist: 31 in, Hip: 38 in
Your measurements fall within the M size range. We recommend M for the intended performance fit. If you prefer slightly less compression, L is also a great choice.
Example 3: Height: 186 cm (6’1″), Waist: 31 in, Hip: 37 in
Although your waist and hip measurements suggest M, we recommend L because you’re taller than average. The longer bib straps and slightly longer leg length usually provide a more balanced and comfortable fit on longer rides.
